We’re saying goodbye to one of our colleagues this month, and hello to another.
After 14+ years of service, Neil Macdonald has begun his final ‘tour of duty’ before he retires. In those 14 years, Neil has covered approx. 70,000 miles (that’s close to three times the distance round the Earth), screened 4,300 films and welcomed 125,000 customers to the cinema. Over the next two weeks, he’ll be adding to those figures, with visits to Port Ellen, Gigha, Coll, Tiree, Lochgilphead, Bunessan and Tobermory.
David Redshaw is the new Operator. David took up his post on 11 March on Jura and battled through Storm Gareth to Islay. David has many years experience of driving in the Highlands & Islands, and has previously worked as our usher in Kyleakin and Port Ellen.
