Naomi Ackie stars as Whitney Houston in this musical biopic dramatising the singer’s extraordinary life.

Having blessed her church and high school with her incredible vocals, a young Whitney Houston catches the eye of record producer Clive Davis whilst performing in a nightclub. Convinced he has just heard the greatest singer of her generation, Clive signs Whitney to his label.

Whitney catapults to superstardom with a string of successful songs and albums, and gives a captivating rendition of the Star Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl. But as she shines in the spotlight, difficulties develop in Whitney’s personal life that threaten to unravel everything she has accomplished.

From the writers of Bohemian Rhapsody comes this emotional and heartbreaking celebration of one of the greatest female vocalists and musical personalities of all time, charting her life from obscurity to global sensation, and to its tragically untimely end.

Contains a sequence of flashing lights that might affect those susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
