Former stunt performer Colt Seavers reluctantly returns to his old profession for the action film Metalstorm, the directorial debut of his ex-girlfriend, Jody Moreno. But Jody isn’t happy to see Colt, let alone wants him working on her film.

Colt discovers he was actually hired by the producer to find Metalstorm’s lead actor and megastar Tom Ryder, who has disappeared after getting involved with some shady people. Not wanting to see Jody’s film ruined, Colt accepts the job, and soon finds himself caught up in a wild conspiracy crazier than expected. He will have to use all his stunt training to solve the mystery, rescue Tom, and save Jody’s film.

Directed by former stunt performer David Leitch, and based on the 80s TV show of the same name, this romantic action-comedy is a multilayered tongue-in-cheek love letter to the moviemaking industry, enriched by the dynamic onscreen chemistry between Gosling and Blunt.

“Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt dazzle in delightful action comedy” The Guardian

“This is popcorn filmmaking at its most cheerful and enthusiastic, driven by cheeky needle drops, rousing action, and movie stars.” IndieWire

“Ryan Gosling is a screwball delight in this sweat-drenched stunt spectacle” The Independent

“gloriously entertaining comedy” Empire
