Sonic the Hedgehog 2

PG

Sonic now lives with his friends Tom and Maddie while working as a vigilante, trying to use his powers for good. When Dr Robotnik returns to Earth, Sonic jumps into action, only to find Robotnik is aligned with a strong and spiky-handed echidna called Knuckles, who can repel Sonic’s powers. Robotnik and Knuckles plan to steal the mystical and all-powerful Master Emerald. It’s down to Sonic to stop them, and he’ll need help from Tom and Maddie, as well as a flying fox called Tails.

Adapted closely from the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series, you’ll need to strap in to watch this supersonic adventure with the world’s most famous blue hedgehog taking on the forces of evil.

“successfully expands its world and offers a more source-faithful kid-friendly adventure” Forbes

“A sweet, funny, and action-packed ride that fully embraces its video game roots.” IGN

“even truer to the whacky, zippy, and obviously breezily adventurous video games than the first film” Cinemaholics

PG: mild violence, language
