Synopsis

The film which was named as Best Film at this year’s Oscars is a coming-of-age story about a young man from a tough Miami neighbourhood, being brought up by a crackhead mother (Naomie Harris). He is represented by three different actors and given three different names to represent different stages in his life – Alex Hibbert is Little, the scrawny kid who questions his sexuality, Ashton Sanders is Chiron, the bullied teenager who falls in love with his best friend and Trevante Rhodes is Black, the young man still struggling with his hidden inner identity.

Finally, Black finds the strength to travel to another State and track down his old friend

The film looks and sounds beautiful, has impressive supporting performances and creates great impact.
