Killers Of The Flower Moon

In 1920s Oklahoma, people of the oil-rich Native American Osage tribe are dying under mysterious and not-so-mysterious circumstances, but local white law enforcement fails to properly investigate. Mollie Kyle, a member of the Osage, falls for WWI white veteran Ernest Buckhart, nephew to powerful white businessman William King Hale. But when Osage close to Mollie start dying, she will do whatever it takes to find the culprits, even petitioning the US Government for help.

Based on a true story, this epic western crime drama from Martin Scorsese (The Irishman, The Wolf of Wall Street) tells a fascinating and grisly tale of America’s unsavoury relationship with its indigenous people, and the lengths some will take to satisfy their greed.

“one of the best Westerns ever made and almost certainly the best film of 2023 so far” London Evening Standard

“vast and vital in its scale, purpose and emotional scope, a Western-thriller and ensemble piece that is every bit a Scorsese crime picture as one can dare to imagine.” TheWrap

“Gladstone is the film’s quiet centre, often inscrutable yet exuding a subtle power while the white men chatter away endlessly” Financial Times

“Monumental stuff: a story about the deadly legacy of America’s colonial sins, both vast and intimate in scope. Exceptional filmmaking, by an exceptional filmmaker.” Empire
