Free Guy

Action-comedy starring Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds and Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer.

Free Guy takes place inside a fictional video game where Reynolds is a bank teller called Guy. Day in day out, Guy turns up for his job only to be shot at by robbers. Meanwhile in the real world, the video game is tweaked by programmers to enable Guy to become more aware of his surroundings. Guy decides to become the hero of his own story… one he rewrites himself.

Jodie Comer shines as the supercool on-line Avatar, Millie. Drawing from references as varied as The Lego Movie to The Matrix, Free Guy is a surprisingly entertaining all-round goofy delight.

“Reynolds’ best comedy after the Deadpool movies! Very funny, but also very romantic & a good mystery with interesting questions about A.I. Fantastic cast & VFX.” Beyond the Trailer

“Warm and witty, Free Guy is expertly crafted disposable fun. And right now, that feels essential.” Total Film

“unabashed sweetness and goofy enthusiasm that proves irresistible.” Observer

“Has an electrifying earnestness that’s hugely refreshing” Daily Telegraph
