Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Director: Sam Raimi
Cast: Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez
In the most horror-y of the Marvel films to day, Doctor Strange is haunted by the past, unable to sleep. After he meets a young woman with extraordinary powers from another universe, he must take a deeper look at the multiverse. He enlists Wong and Scarlet Witch to join him in a journey into wild and dangerous alternate realities. But somewhere amongst the new worlds lies an unknown and mysterious threat waiting to confront them.
This sequel to 2016’s Doctor Strange continues the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It takes you on a surreal and mind-bending adventure through time and space, pushing the boundaries of any Marvel film you’ve seen before.
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness largely lives up to the promise of its title thanks to the wildly inventive, entertainingly chaotic visual style that Raimi honed on his Evil Dead slapstick horror trilogy.” The Scotsman
“Multiverse of Madness employs two powerful assets for Stranges latest outing: Sam Raimi and Elizabeth Olsen. Raimi easily slips back into his horror filmmaking roots and manages to infuse this sequel with as much horror as the MCU allows him.” Bloody Disgusting
“Sam Raimi’s penchant for gore is executed to euphoric effect” Time Out
