Marisa Abela stars as Amy Winehouse in this biographical drama about her phenomenal success and tragic personal life.

Amy is a talented musician with grand ambitions. Starting out as a jazz singer in North London, her unique sound and songwriting abilities secure her a record deal, experiencing critical success with her debut album.

Her follow-up, Back to Black, becomes one of the best-selling albums in the world, winning multiple awards, and transforming her into a household name. But Amy’s propelling success brings relentless tabloid scrutiny, substance abuse, and mental health difficulties, leading to her untimely death at the age of 27.

“Marisa Abela nails Amy Winehouse in every look, mood and note” Variety
