An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power

PG
One decade on from An Inconvenient Truth, this sequel brings home the intensification of the climate change crisis. Campaigner Al Gore returns to address the planet’s ongoing environmental problems. Gore travels the globe, visiting various affected areas, taking an active role in the UN 2015 Climate Change Conference and stalking the corridors of power. Filmed mostly prior to the 2016 US election, the movie was post-edited to include Trump’s announcement that he would take the US out of the Paris Climate agreement. Whilst there is an element of “I told you so”, Gore is desperate to show that progress is vital. “A necessary essay from the sharp end of the global warming crisis” The Observer “thought provoking, important” Empire “vital, hugely relevant documentary” NME
