This scheme has now closed, but focussed on community building in areas that are considered to be disadvantaged through economic or social changes. Using music as an inclusive activity, the project set up events and workshops in Caithness, Lochaber, Alness and the Uists, including:

  • Training workshops in song writing, arrangement and performance
  • Help with recording projects;
  • Training youth workers on the use of sound equipment;
  • Help for new local promoters;
  • Workshops in traditional music;
  • Vocal workshop sessions;
  • Live gig opportunities

If you wish to know more about this or any other HI~Arts music project please contact John Saich at john@hi-arts.co.uk
