- On the road – Two driver/operators who work two weeks on-two weeks off. They drive the Screen Machine, set it up, sell the tickets and show the film. They also carry out the day-to-day maintenance. In each location the driver/operator is assisted by a locally recruited usher.

- In the office – The Screen Machine is managed and run by a team of four based in Inverness. A manager organises the tours, books the films, promotes the shows etc and is primarily involved with the Screen Machine. Box office, web-site and financial concerns are handled by members of the HI~Arts team as part of their wider roles within the company.
