Arts & Business: New Arts Sponsorship Grants
The Scottish Government is providing Arts & Business with £300,000 in 2008/9 and £300,000 in 2009/10 to encourage new business sponsorship for the arts on a £1 for £1 matching basis. This will build on the success of the equivalent scheme that has, over the last two years, encouraged over seventy businesses to sponsor the arts for the first time, and brought in an additional £1.8 million for the arts in Scotland.

Engaging with the arts is a proven way for business to promote their services and goods, associate with customers and clients, develop staff and give something back to their communities, and this scheme offers a great incentive to see how beneficial an arts sponsorship can be.
