HI~Arts is the cultural development agency for the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Our website contains a wealth of resources for and about the arts of the region, arranged under the following 'tabs':

Click the Journal tab for 'Northings', the online cultural Journal for the Highlands and Islands. Northings launched in June 2003, and is now used by thousands of readers every day.

With a dedicated Commissioning Editor, and a team of writers from across the region, Northings is the most comprehensive source of features, interviews, news and reviews for arts and culture in the Highlands and Islands.
