Twisters

Kate Cooper is a meteorologist who believes she has found a way to use chemical reagents to halt a tornado’s destructive spin. But when her test proves nearly catastrophic, she vows to never go chasing tornadoes again.

Five years later, and a high number of twisters are wreaking havoc across the American midwest. Kate is convinced by her friend Javi to join him in studying them. Out in the field, they cross paths with YouTube star and storm chaser Tyler Owens, whose daredevil brushes with tornadoes wrack up the likes and views online.

When Tyler learns about Kate’s theory, he offers her the chance to test it once again. Burdened by the past, Kate must decide whether to give it another shot, knowing that she will have to come face to face with one of nature’s most destructive forces once again.
