Raynor and Moth Winn find themselves homeless when a bad investment and inexperience with the legal system results in their family farm getting repossessed. To make matters worse, Moth receives a diagnosis that will dramatically affect his health and quality of life going forwards.

With pennies in their pockets and nowhere to go, they start walking the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile uninterrupted path around southwestern England. They initially struggle to cope with the changes in weather and constant movement. But as their journey progresses they start to adapt to their new life, realising that although they have lost everything, all they truly need is each other.

Based on the award-winning memoir by Raynor Winn, this touching biographical drama champions the enduring human spirit, reminding us that home is not necessarily just a place, and that life is lived on step at a time.

“this portrait of loss, humanity and rebirth makes it worth the emotional investment.” Variety
