The Rider

An understated gem of a film telling the tale of cowboys and bronco riders in South Dakota. Brady is a young rodeo rider, left unable to compete due to a head injury, sustained when his horse briefly fell on him. He’s raring to get back in the saddle, and is egged on by his friends, but always on Brady’s mind is his friend Lane, another young rider left severely disabled following his own riding accident. The film follows Brady through his rehabilitation, whilst he wrestles with the decision to return to the rodeo or seek a different path.
