The Odyssey

Odysseus, King of Ithaca, can finally return home following the prolonged Trojan War. But the gods have other plans for him. What should be a straightforward voyage turns in a perilous journey across land and sea, bringing him face to face with dangerous mythical beings, and even the gods themselves.

Back in Ithaca, Odysseus’ long absence motivates unruly suitors to pursue his wife Penelope. As she evades their advances, their son Telemachus refuses to believe his father is truly lost, and sets off to try to find him.

Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan (Oppenheimer, Dunkirk) brings Homer’s epic tale to life in this start-studded historical fantasy. Filmed in IMAX and shot on location, including Scotland, you will feel like you are right alongside Odysseus along every step of his journey.
