Ex-soldier Zora Bennett and palaeontologist Dr Henry Loomis are recruited to join Duncan Kincaid and his team on an expedition to a dinosaur-inhabited island formerly owned by InGen, the cloners and originators of Jurassic Park. Their mission is to obtain biological samples from three dinosaurs to help a pharmaceutical company develop a major drug that will greatly benefit humanity.

But the team won’t be tangling with just any old dinosaurs. The island was the site of a secret InGen laboratory that tinkered with experimental hybrids. The laboratory now abandoned, these mutant creations roam freely across the island, posing greater peril to visitors than ever before.

Executive produced by Stephen Spielberg, directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One), and written by the original Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp, this latest entry in the series harkens back to the action and suspense of the original, while mixing in a bit of horror and humour.
