Inside Out 2

Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust are ready to help Riley as she enters her teenage years. But they must make room for the unexpected – new emotions! Suddenly headquarters is feeling overcrowded as Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment make themselves at home.

Things go from bad to worse when Anxiety takes control of Riley and imprisons the original five, turning them into suppressed emotions. Not to be deterred, the five must do whatever they can to return to headquarters, stop Anxiety, and help Riley navigate the new changes in her life.

Pixar delivers this sequel to 2015’s phenomenal Inside Out. Taking the next step in Riley’s life, it uses humour and sincerity to depict the ups and downs we all feel stepping outside our comfort zones as we grow up.

“a brilliantly animated sequel that delivers a rollercoaster of emotions with great voice acting.” MovieWeb

“the rare Pixar sequel that truly earns its existence and deepens the message of its first film.” Mashable

“a visual delight, as bright and shiny as Joy’s demeanour, but what’s most stirring is its willingness to tell children (and their parents) that they should not repress parts of themselves out of fear that they’ll be judged.” Screen International
