22 years after Anna swapped bodies with her mother Tess, she’s engaged to marry Eric, whose teenage daughter Lily is in the same class as Anna’s daughter Harper. Unfortunately, Lily and Harper don’t get along, and make it pretty clear that they don’t want to be step-sisters.

During Anna’s bachelorette party, the mothers and daughters receive cryptic palm readings. The following morning, Anna has swapped bodies with Harper, and Lily with Tess. Having been in this situation before, Anna and Tess set out to see how they can set things right, while Lily and Harper see an opportunity to sabotage the upcoming marriage. But along the way, they all learn about each other.

Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis return to give hilarious performances in this comedy sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday.
