Billy Connolly: Big Banana Feet

Watch the legendary Billy Connolly as his career started to take off in this newly restored and rarely-seen documentary about his 1975 tour of Ireland.

Donning his famous banana boots, The Big Yin uses his comic and musical talent to navigate the political tensions of the Troubles gripping Dublin and Belfast at the time. Alongside footage of Billy’s stand-up material, the raw fly-on-the-wall style of the documentary offers unique behind-the-scenes glimpses of the off-stage charm and genius that have made him an enduring comedic icon.

Almost lost to the ages, this film was restored from a single copy and has improved visuals and sounds so you can enjoy The Big Yin on the big screen.
