All We Imagine as Light follows three women living in the vibrant bustle of Mumbai. Prabha, estranged from her husband living in Germany, receives the advances of a doctor. Her younger flatmate Anu is in a secret and electric relationship with a Muslim man. And their widowed co-worker Parvaty is threatened with eviction due to her late husband not leaving proof of her tenancy.

When they take a trip to a quiet beachside town, each of them finds the space to take a look at their relationships and lives, and figure out what they most desire.

Winner of the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, this absorbing and emotional drama about the complexities of female friendship was critically-acclaimed, topping many critic’s lists of the best films of 2024.
