Alien: Romulus

Rain Carradine and her friends are desperate to escape their hard lives on a colony planet run by the Weyland-Yutani Company. They plan to raid a nearby abandoned spacecraft of its expensive materials, which they will use to travel across space to a better life.

The group arrives on the spacecraft, expecting to be gone within the hour. But their presence disturbs a deadly and unknown force that unleashes an imaginable horror, forcing them into a desperate fight for survival.

Set between Alien and Aliens, this latest entry in the acclaimed sci-fi series pays homage to the suspense and horror of the original, along with action-packed sequences and small nods to the other films.

“crucially remembers the ingredients for what makes a good Alien film, and executes them with stunning craft and care” Empire

“a clever, gripping and sometimes awe-inspiring sci-fi chiller, which takes the series back to its nerve-racking monster-movie roots while injecting it with some new blood” BBC

“An Alien movie worthy of the mood, originality and template established by Ridley Scott in 1979.” The Times
