Immediately following the events of 28 Years Later, 12-year-old Spike is initiated into a gang called the Fingers, led by the Satanist Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal. Each is named a variation of Jimmy, and they wander apocalyptic Britain, evading the infected and terrorising survivors.

Elsewhere, Dr Ian Kelson believes his curious interactions with an infected man called Samson could help him determine a cure for the rage virus. But his attempts to properly put it into practice come under threat when he crosses paths with the Fingers.

Like its predecessor, this tense horror looks at how people try to retain their humanity in a brutal, violent world dominated by evil acts. Featuring plenty of violence and gore, it is not for the fainthearted.

“DaCosta’s film is a macabre morality tale about the best and worst of human nature. It is utterly brutal, and one of the most compelling so far.” The Observer

“This may be another zombie movie about the inhumanity of man, but it’s also deeply, triumphantly humane.” The Atlantic

“Simpler, but also bolder and bloodier, than its predecessor, The Bone Temple is a more-than-worthy sequel” Empire

18: strong gory violence, injury detail, very strong language
