Nairnia - The Winter Procession is taking place on Friday 28 November 2008 in Nairn . With plans underway for Nairnia to become an annual event, without doubt one of the plumb roles must surely be to play the part of one of the Nairnia children - Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy. But it’s more than a simple acting role.

'Big Thinking' is an opportunity to help shape the future of the Big Lottery Fund in Scotland. Over the next few months they will be consulting on a new six-year strategic plan, looking at the overall approach they take and the focus of their work. On Monday 1 December 2008 there will be an event at Inverness Caledonian Stadium for those wanting to contribute to the consultation.

Now in its 3rd year, applications for the 2009 programme are open to individuals and teams with a strong business idea in the science, technology and/or creative industry sectors. | "The Blank Album" Tour Dates in the Highlands and Islands |

Gilmore Productions, the Glasgow based dance company led by Artistic Director Natasha Gilmore, are to tour their entertaining new production, The Blank Album, around the UK from 26th September. A high energy piece which combines rock music, pop imagery and complex choreography directed by Natasha Gilmore, The Blank Album features music composed by Quee McArthur of Shooglenifty, the maverick Scottish band whose unique blend of dance vibes and roots music has earned them a huge following.
