Description: The final of Òran Ùr do Mhuile (A New Song for Mull) will take place in the Aros Hall, Tobermory on Saturday 8th November. This is an innovative project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Mull Local Mòd.

Finalists are; Allan MacDonald, Edinburgh; Norma McDougall, West Kilbride; Ian Thomson, Torloisk and Kenneth Thomson, Glasgow. Tobermory, John Angus MacLeod, Largs and Ceitidh Smith, Kyle of Lochalsh.

All the songs will be performed by a house band consisting of Gillian Frame, Paul Jennings, Mary Ann Kennedy, Douglas Millar and Findlay Napier and local singers Kirsty MacKinnon, Shannon MacLean and Alasdair Whyte. The final will be adjudicated by a panel of three, Anne Lorne Gillies, Eilidh MacKenzie and Malcolm Munro.
