Description:

Scotland's Rural Past has organised a full and varied conference programme which they hope reflects the high quality and variety of SRP projects taking place across the country. The keynote talk on placenames will be given by Dr Simon Taylor from St Andrew's University. In addition to the papers being presented by SRP volunteers, there will also be opportunities to have your questions answered at one of the 'clinics' hosted by the SRP team, and to see and participate in a number of rural craft demonstrations. There is also a conference dinner on Saturday evening.

On Sunday 16 morning, there will be a guided walk in Pitlochry woods to investigate the historic landscape. Places on the walk will be restricted, so please apply early! Booking form and information sheet is available for downloading below.
