Event: Jeff Hamilton Trio

Jeff has been known worldwide in his own right as a trio leader/orchestra director in partnership with renouned international bassist John Clayton, in past years as part of legendary groups such as Ray Brown Trio and Monty Alexander Trio and also in more recent worldwide spread performances as Diana Krall’s backing drummer.

His vibrant swinging performances bring out the best in all groups and Ken Ramage is delighted to have him back on a Nairn stage to introduce the fabulous award-winning young pianist Tamir Hendelman (yet another to add to the collection of pianists for Nairn) and bassist Christoph Luty – known for his big, natural sound, melodic bass lines and articulate playing.
