EASTER EGGS-TRAVAGANZA AT THE PALACE

The Palace launches its 2008 season in style, when the annual Easter Extravaganza takes place from 21 - 24 March. On Good Friday, Saturday and Monday hundreds of families will take up the challenge of searching for Easter eggs hidden in the labyrinth of passageways in the Murray Star Maze, plus Easter Chicks and Bunnies hidden in the Palace State Rooms.

On Easter Sunday the Palace will hold its first Teddy Bear's Picnic, including a visit from Mr and Mrs Bear and a 'Best Dressed Bear' competition for all your little furry friends! Also Picnic Games for ages 4-12 years, an Inflatable Play Tunnel and a fantastic Play Tent for ages 1-8 years with toys and activities, a play kitchen and dressing up clothes (Please note grown-ups must accompany children in the Play Tent). A Balloon Modeller and Face Painter will also be on hand to keep everybody entertained. So get your teddy at the ready and come along and join in the fun!

Activities take place from 10.00hrs - 16.00hrs each day. Palace and grounds open from 09.30hrs - 17.30hrs daily.
