The Unusual Suspects in Edinburgh

The Unusual Suspects sensational debut gig was recently named by the Scotsman newspaper as one of the top 20 gigs of all time! They conclude a magnificent year that started at Celtic Connections and also saw them performing an open-air concert in Berlin to a crowd of over 50,000. These concerts will include the new piece "Lorient Suite" written by Corrina Hewat and David Milligan, commissioned by the Scottish Arts Council, with its Scottish premiere performance at The Queens Hall, Edinburgh next Tuesday 30th Oct.

The bands ever-evolving line-up has featured over 50 of the finest musicians on the Scottish scene including members of Blazin’ Fiddles, Capercaillie, Salsa Celtica, Peatbog Faeries, Battlefield Band and Shooglenifty (to name but a few). In addition, their brass section features the best players in the business, working with the likes of the Gil Evans Orchestra, George Michael, Ray Charles and Elton John.
