Ullapool Composer to perform at Inverness Cathedral

Ullapool based Composer James Douglas, also a very accomplished Organist, has been asked to give a Lunchtime Guest Organ Recital at Inverness Cathedral (St. Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral), during their Flower Festival 2007.

This prestigious recital will take place next Thursday 26th July 2007 from 12.30pm until 1.15pm, following the earlier launch of The Flower Festival at the Cathedral on Ardross Street, Inverness that morning. Admission is free and we would like to encourage people who are in Inverness that day to come along for a wonderful lunchtime recital.

Music will include: the World Premiere of  "Inverness Cathedral" and "To the Cairngorms" written for the people of Inverness, Badenoch and Strathspey respectively, there will also be music by Handel to open the programme.
