Invitation to take part in an online survey Gaelic language and culture website
19 July 2007

Cuireadh gu bhith a’ gabhail pàirt ann an suirbhidh air-loidhne – làrach-lìn cànan is cultar na Gàidhlig

Progressive, an independent market research agency, are working alongside Red Cell, on behalf of Bòrd na Gàidhlig, to investigate the ways in which more people can be encouraged to learn Gaelic and find out more about Gaelic language and culture. More specifically they are conducting research into the content of a new website promoting Gaelic Http://www.mygaelic.com

As part of this exciting research, it is essential that they gain the views of stakeholders from Gaelic speaking communities in the UK and abroad, and they would very much appreciate your support. Progressive would like to invite you to take part in this study and would be very grateful if you would take the time to complete a short online survey.

The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and your comments will be fed into the development of the website. To complete the survey please view the appropriate weblink below. You have the choice of completing the questionnaire in Gaelic or English. Again, Progressive would be very grateful if you could take the time to do this by Monday 30th July 2007.

Please be assured that all of Progressive's research projects are performed in accordance with the ABMRC Code of Business Practice, IQCS guidelines and the Market Research Society's Code of Conduct. This means that your responses will be strictly confidential and your details will not be passed to any organisations without your consent.

To complete the survey in Gaelic please see the following weblink:

Progressive are very keen to gather as much input as possible from the Gaelic community and would be delighted if you could forward this email on to any friends or colleagues that you feel may wish to contribute to the research.

Should you have any questions about the survey please do not hesitate to get in touch with Kate Sankey at Progressive on +44 (0)131 316 1900.
