`Number 1` is in the Eastgate Centre on Sunday July 29th, from 9pm to midnight. It’s the first event from HEAT that’s the Highland Experimental Arts and Technology group that’s dedicated to pushing boundaries with the arts and technology. Its about connecting, collaborating, showcasing and doing interesting work and events.

This time up there`s a new music piece from John Hall, there`s some aerial from Jenifer Patterson and Cat Harrison, there`s `Tricks of Delight` installations from John McGeoch ( Neptune`s Throne), Dave Smith ( Teleman), Caroline Bury ( Mandala 12) and Andrew Ward ( Bards) – , there`s VJ, belly dancing from Caroline Bury and Maren Lueg , there`s James and Flick Hawkins on live paint and camera, there`s Sgod on poetics and the beauties of the electronic croft - held aloft by baler twine and broadband. Special guests are the band Ragni from Canada showcasing their new album and graphics , and of course there`s wine at the door.
