Our connection, our line to the past survives in our music, our writings, our landscape, our sense of community and our respect for family. “Kin” will celebrate landscape, language, tradition, community and family, all fundamental to the Highland consciousness, to our place in the world and to the inspiration of our people. Visually stunning, this production will incorporate a constant running backdrop that will change throughout the hour-long performance.

The KIN production is being led by Duncan Chisholm. Duncan is currently continuing to tour and record with Wolfstone whilst enjoying various tours and commitments with long-term friend and colleague Ivan Drever, an act that brings out the more traditional and emotive side of his playing. Also on the tour itinerary are various concerts and tours with Blazin' Fiddles, a group of six Highland fiddle players, dynamically bringing together many different styles of playing.
