Initiated by Scottish Screen in 2000, the Alt-w Fund is for practitioners to make and develop innovative work and creative applications for the web which challenge notions of what networked screen-based digital creativity can be.

The fund strongly encourages applicants to explore experimental and interactive creations which engage audiences and make use of the web as both platform and medium.
