Following its successful bid at securing funding of £9,870 from Awards for All, The Kintyre Cultural Forum is now ready to re launch its events Diary and Newsletter. The Kintyre Cultural Forum (KCF) newsletter/events diary has a print run of 3,000 copies with the aim of promoting cultural events in Kintyre. The Forum plans to stage a seminar to help give direction to Kintyre’s thriving cultural scene and in addition to this intends to update its current database of members as well as creating an on-line forum.

Chair of the Kintyre Cultural Forum, Deirdre Henderson, said “I am really pleased that we can build on the work that we have done before and can also look to developing the Kintyre Cultural Forum to not only be a voice for the very important cultural sector of Kintyre but develop the services of the Forum based on the members’ needs and ideas. It is timely that an independent and collective voice of local people can be heard.”
