Eden Court is offering theatre enthusiasts aged 16+ the opportunity to take part in a four day project exploring the exciting new world of experimental theatre.

Led by Eden Court Drama worker Islay MacRae, the group will depart from the usual conventions of theatre, using cutting edge companies like Goat Island, Lone twin, Gardzienice as their inspiration.

The students will devise their own pieces through new acting methods, improvisation, use of unusual spaces and other radical techniques, over four days of intensive drama workshops, all leading to a final performance.

Islay commented:

"This is a great opportunity to stretch your imagination and create something really exciting and different. The project is designed to be informal and fun but the students will also take away a real sense of achievement."
