HI~Arts Hogmanay Short Story Competition HI~Arts is very pleased to announce a new short story competition for Highlands and Islands authors.
Following in the tradition of ghost stories for Christmas and Hogmanay, HI~Arts is inviting submissions of short ghost stories themed around Christmas and/or Hogmannay celebrations.
- Stories can be up to 3000 words in length. Author must be resident in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland
- Must be submitted via e-mail or post by midnight on Monday 18th December 2006. Submissions must be double spaced and in a common font. If printed, must singled-sided.
- Must be unpublished - entry to the competition is consent for us to publish. Author retains copyright.
- Judges are Robert Livingston, Director, HI~Arts & Kenny Matheson, Commissioning Editor, 'Northings'.
- Prize - there is one prize of £250, plus publication in January 2007 edition of 'Northings', the HI~Arts online arts journal.
