Steven Seagal comes to the UK in January as part of a mammoth worldwide tour with his band Thunderbox.

He might be better known as one of Hollywood’s favourite action heroes, and the star of blockbuster films like ‘Under Siege’ and ‘Out for a Kill’, but his love of Blues music also plays a big part in his life. Steven has played the guitar since childhood and has now released two albums, his first, ‘Songs from the Crystal Cave’ in 2005, and his second ‘Mojo Priest’ in 2006.

Steven has worked alongside some major artists on these two records including long time Howlin Wolf sidekick Hurbert Sumlin, and Grammy award winner Lady Saw. His second release ‘Mojo Priest’ was the result of a long-held musical desire to record a 'real blues album' honouring, and recording with, the best of the living legends in Memphis including Bo Diddley. Steven also worked with Stevie Wonder on the track ‘My God’ on his first album ‘Songs from the Crystal Cave’.

This world tour was originally scheduled to coincide with the release of his second album ‘Mojo Priest’ in May this year, but due to a high demand for tickets the tour was postponed to allow extra dates and will now take place in the early part of 2007.

Steven still remains loyal to his film work while pursuing his musical career.
