The Wigtown Poetry Competition is the largest poetry competition in Scotland, with over 2,000 entries in its first year.

Main category winning entries will be published in the Sunday Herald, and all winning and commended poems will be published in a special anthology produced in association with the Galloway Gazette. Closing date is  5.00pm Friday January 26th 2007.
