Traditio.net - promoting Scottish and Italian culture in the Highlands
05 May 2006

Traditio.net, was formed out of a love for both Scottish and Italian cultures and traditions. It is a non profitable organisation promoting Italian and Scottish Image and Heritage, outreaching initially to Milan, one of the biggest World Commercial markets.

They will be organising future events in the fields of culture, art & crafts, modern and classical arts, popular traditions, wine and gastronomic excellence, tourism, science and technology, sport, fashion and any other topics for promoting the best Image of Italy and Scotland.

They plan to donate regularly a part of what will be raised by the events to Charities and Hospitals, starting with the Paediatric Unit of Raigmore Hospital.

The Association, formed on the 27th of December 2005 by a group of Italian and Scottish founding members, has already organised its first events for the Communities of Inverness and Edinburgh:

• During the Easter period, at the Crown Church, two choreographed, danced interpretations of the Passion of Christ, titled “The Passion of a Man” was enthusiastically enjoyed by all those who attended.

• On the 25th of May 2006 the Association “Traditio.net”, together with the Rotary Club of Edinburgh, will host a special Piano recital, in which the Rotarian professional pianist Francesco Attesti, a world renowned Italian pianist, and Miss Anne Kaschenz, a German soprano ; will play and sing a classical programme *

• The City of Inverness will have the chance to enjoy the same Piano Recital on the 27th of May 2006, in the Town House, at 7.30 p.m. (including a light Scottish/Italian refreshment and buffet). The outstanding Mr Attesti has already been guest of many Rotarian Clubs all over the world for his special interpretations of some of the preferred classical authors, like Chopin, Brahms and Debussy. Their Programme for both events is as follows.
