Tickets for Shetland Arts ‘Culture Clash’ world music event, which runs from the 18th – 20th May will go on sale from High Level Music in Lerwick at 9.00am on Friday 21st April 2006.

The event features, among others, Canadian fiddle ace Calvin Vollrath an his band; Juan Martin’s Fabuloso (Spanish flamenco music and dance); Ba Cissoko, an exciting band from Guinea; an un-named group of highly rated Estonian musicians and some top class home grown talent including Brian Gear and Violet Tulloch.

Thursday 18th May - Calvin Vollrath Band with Brian Gear and Violet Tulloch and Estonian support band – Sound Hall – 7.30pm

Friday 19th May – Juan Martin’s Fabuloso – Sound Hall 7.30 pm

Friday 19th May – Calvin Vollrath Band with Brian Gear and Violet Tulloch, Estonian musicians and the Cullivoe Dance Band – Cullivoe Hall, Yell 7.30pm.

Saturday 20th May – Ba Cissoko with Estonian support band – Clickimin Centre Bowls Hall – 7.30pm

Tickets for each separate event cost £10 and £7 concession, or you can buy a full event ticket for £25 or £15 concession.
