Watermill to showcase the best of British art
10 October 2005

The Watermill in Aberfeldy, Scotland’s newest art gallery, will celebrate its first Christmas with an outstanding exhibition entitled ‘Modern Print Masters’. The exhibition, which will open on Friday 4th November and run until 9th January, will showcase limited edition prints by some of the great names of British post-war art and contemporary printmakers.

All of the works will be available to purchase, with prices starting at just £300, and going up to £5,000. Artists featured will include Patrick Heron, Barbara Hepworth, Damien Hirst, Joan Miro, Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, John Hoyland, Victor Vasarely, John Bellany, Neil Canning and Eduardo Paolozzi amongst others.

Kevin Ramage, owner of The Watermill says, “We are delighted to be able to showcase such high quality art here in Perthshire. This promises to be Scotland’s most spectacular Christmas art show, and will be a unique opportunity to purchase limited edition works by some of Britain’s best-known and most sought-after contemporary artists, some of whose work is rarely on sale in Scotland. If you’re looking to buy something that’s definitely not ‘run of the mill’ for that special person in your life this Christmas, then The Watermill will definitely be worth a visit!”

A free catalogue showing many of the works will be available shortly before the exhibition. To order a copy, please write to The Watermill, Mill Street, Aberfeldy, PH15 2BG, or email info@aberfeldywatermill.com
