BBC 1Xtra and Urbanscot have teamed up to present the Scottish leg of the forthcoming "Homegrown Weekend. This event is one of 4 events around the country showcasing the best in new unsigned artists/acts. Glasgow will showcase the best in Scottish Hip Hop alongside more established artists.

Homegrown live Scotland will be held on Wednesday 26th October, in Glasgow's new concert venue ABC in Sauchihall Street. The event will be focusing on Scottish Hip Hop, featuring selected artists from all over Scotland alongside 1xtra guests, Rodney P, Skitz and Dj Blakey. The show will be recorded and broadcasted on 1xtra on Saturday 12th November from midnight till 2am as part of the "Homegrown Weekend".

We are looking for artists to showcase in the event. Doors open to All Hip Hop artists from Scotland. All you need to do is print out the application form below, and send it to us complete with examples of your work. Please indicate which material you would like to perform at the event.
