Three Highland Secondary Schools are joining together to present an evening of exciting music to raise funds for the charity, CHILDREN 1ST.
This concert will be held on Tuesday 22nd March at 7.30 p.m. at Eden Court Theatre.
The evening will be compered by Moray Firth Presenter, Nicky Marr, who will introduce:
• Sensational Songs from the Shows from the talented pupils of Charleston Academy.
• Terrific traditional music from Tain Academy's celebrated Gizzen Briggs.
• Nairn Academy's very own red hot Salsa Band, Salsa Charanga.
Tickets are available from the Eden Court Box Office at £8 each, (reduced rate £6) and a special price of £4 for under 18's. Box Office number is 01463 234234.
All money raised by the concert will be used to support the work of CHILDREN 1ST with vulnerable children and their families in Scotland. Locally CHILDREN 1ST have centres on the Black Isle and in Elgin, helping children who have suffered abuse or neglect, to rebuild their lives.
CHILDREN 1ST Fundraiser, Jean Hogben, said how delighted she was to have the support of the schools. " It is always particularly heartwarming when children come together to raise money to help other children less fortunate than themselves. It promises to be a fantastic concert showcasing the wealth of musical talent here in the Highlands."
This concert has been made possible by the generous sponsorship of Lifescan Scotland Ltd.
