Christmas is a distant  memory and Moray Council’s Arts Development Team thoughts are turning to next April’s visit by the Royal Shakespeare Company.

The Royal Shakespeare Company will be performing Julius Caesar and The Two Gentlemen of Verona at Forres House Community Centre from 19 – 23 April 2005.

If the response to the last visit in 2002 is anything to go by tickets are set to sell quickly. The box office will open in January and purchasing tickets will be able to be done with the click of a mouse either at home, in your local library or any other location where a computer can be accessed.  Thanks to funding from SAC Lottery, Europe and HIE a new online ticketing service will soon be available.  HI~Arts, the arts development agency for the Highlands and Islands has developed ‘the booth’ – an online box office (www.thebooth.co.uk).

Tickets for RSC performances will be available online for credit and debit card sales from noon on Friday 14th January (www.moray.gov.uk/rsc or www.thebooth.co.uk)  and from Forres House Community Centre and by phone (01309 672036) from 9am on Monday 17th January.  Tickets are £12 full price, £10 concession and £6 for matinees.  Matinee tickets are not available online. RSC will present Julius Caesar at 7.30pm on Tuesday 19th and Saturday 23rd  and at 1.30pm on Wednesday 20th April. The Two Gentlemen of Verona will be performed at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st and on Friday 22nd at 1.30 pm and 7.30 pm
