Cirque du Soleil is now casting roles in its nine current productions and upcoming creations. They will be holding general auditions for actors, dancers and singers in Edinburgh from 29-31 August 2004. The job openings are for the years 2004, 2005 and 2006.

The company's casting team is specifically seeking:

High-calibre dancers - Cirque du Soleil is open to all styles of dance.

Physical actors - with keen creative skills, solid acting training and strong theatrical experience. They also welcome clowns, contemporary mimes, street performers and artists with unusual body types.

Singers - with excellent vocal technique and versatility (world beat, soul, folk, rock, jazz).
