Mull Theatre (in the persons of Director, Alasdair McCrone and Dramaturg, Peter Arnott) is running a theatre writers’ workshop in An Tobar on the week beginning March 8th.

The workshop will involve the active participation of three playwrights who have sent work to Mull Theatre for consideration. During the week of intensive script development, the process will be aided and abetted by a team of professional actors from the Mull company, reading, discussing and workshopping the scripts with the writers.

This will culminate in a “rehearsed reading” – a public performance of excerpts from these scripts in development, where both participants and audience will have the opportunity to make comments and ask questions after the readings.

The playwrights and their plays are:
Angus Graham-Campbell: Wreckers
Moira Forsyth: The Visitors
Eric John Macdonald: The Friends of the Corncrake
