Stellar Quines, who came to Ardross Hall last year with the very moving play
Wit, are returning on 17th June with Memory of Water.
Winner of the 2000 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy, The Memory of
Water is affectionate, sharp and brilliantly funny. Three sisters meet on the
eve of their mother's funeral. Together they rummage through their collective
memories, dredging up old stories, events and conflicts. Each has evolved their
own way of dealing (or not) with the past, but as emotion, disputed memory and
alcohol all take their toll, they slowly dissolve into a chaos of hilarity and
grief.
Ardross Hall on 17th June at 8pm. Tickets £8 / £6. Book by email or phone
